Camping spaces are limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis to 4H families who are actively participating in the 2023 Arapahoe County Fair with the 4H program. All applications will be verified by the CSU office upon submittal. Applicants will be notified if their camp site application has been denied and funds will be returned.
Campsite reservations are limited to 1 space per applicant. If you did not receive a 2023 camping space, please email Fairgrounds@arapahoegov.com to be placed on the waitlist. Waitlist applicants are not guaranteed a camping space at the 2023 Arapahoe County Fair.
Camping Rules and Regulations
- Campers may begin camping Saturday, July 22, 2023. We request all campers arrive on this day to receive your permit and set up. If for some reason you cannot make the Saturday load in, please let us know for coordination to receive your permit.
- Campers permit must remain visible in the driver’s side window at all times.
- Campers must stay within designated camping lots at all times.
- Campers must assure that the propane and electrical systems are up to code and will not bring any harm to themselves or any other camper during the Arapahoe County Fair.
- There is no access to water onsite. Campers will need to supply their own water supply.
- There is no access to electrical hook ups. Campers must supply their own generators. Generators are not permitted to run between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Fireworks are not permitted on the fairgrounds under any circumstance.
- Alcohol, grills, open flames or fire is not permitted on the fairgrounds or campgrounds under any circumstance.
- Dogs or pets are not permitted on the fairgrounds or campgrounds under any circumstance.
- Light towers will be provided and operating from 9pm-6am daily. Light towers shall not be used to provide any additional power to any camper.
- 4-H showers and port-a-lets will be located adjacent to the campgrounds.
- Campers must reserve a camping space prior to the Arapahoe County Fair. Those who do not reserve a space beforehand will not be allowed to camp.
- No personal ATVs, golf carts or any other small vehicles allowed on the premise and/or inside of the fair gates.
- Insurance must be valid and proof of insurance must be accessible.
- Livestock and horse trailers are expected to be parked in an orderly manner to allow for overflow public parking. No trailer or car parking is allowed directly north of the Livestock Pavilion and South of the warmup arena due to fire lane access. Violators will be towed. See approved map for parking locations. Your help and courtesy in this matter is appreciated.
- Campers must keep all fire lanes open at all times.
