ARRA Queen Aspen Schultz:
My name is Aspen Shultz. I am honored to be your 2026 Arapahoe County Rodeo Queen. I moved to Colorado four years ago when my dad retired from the U.S. Army and I am proud to call Centennial home where I am a junior at Grandview High School.
My path to rodeo is a little different than most. As a military kid, my family moved every couple of years since I was born, so I was never in one place long enough to plant roots. I moved seven times before 7th grade! But I would not trade the experiences I had in each location for anything in the world. I was lucky enough to live in Italy for a few years and got to visit over 10 countries!
I started riding horses at our last duty station in the Army – San Antonio, Texas, and I have been riding ever since. My horse Money and I can be seen at gymkhanas and barrel series throughout the area, but we really love going on long rides on the bridal trails near my home. I always meet kids who want to pet my horse and it gives me an opportunity to help kids see that being a rider is an attainable goal for anyone – even city kids.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to serving Arapahoe County over the next year and serving as a positive role model.
