Pours on the Plains (Craft Brew Fest)

Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Fair is all about Craft Brew. The hugely popular event is back for another year. Guests will receive beer sampling tickets and have the chance to taste award-winning libations from 15+ Colorado breweries. Also featuring arcade games, live music, lawn games, good vibes, and a hoppin' time. Pours on the Plains is a 21+ event only.

**Pours on the Plains is a separate ticketed event and does not include general Fair admission. You must purchase a Fair ticket in addition to your Pours on the Plains ticket for access into the event. Bundle your tickets and you've got the perfect night planned!

People's Choice Award
Sip and cast your vote for your favorite brewery of the night! Each guest will receive one token to be used to vote for the People's Choice Award. The winner will be announced at the event.

Judge's Choice Award
A panel of judges will determine the Judge's Choice for the Best in Show as well as judging other beer styles at the event. Judges include Thirst Colorado assistant editor Steve Graham, Thirst Colorado marketing assistant Brandon Geer and guest judges Fabienne Geer and Christine Graham.

Activities
Arcade Games, Horseshoe pit, Pretzel necklace making, "Guess the Bottle Cap" game for a chance to win 2025 Pours on the Plains tickets, and grown-up lawn games will be available for free play during the event.

Beer Samplings
Guests will receive a mini mug and beer sampling tickets with their admission. One sampling = One ticket.

Event Time
This year, Pours on the Plains will be running from 6:30 PM-9:30 PM.

Food
A Bit Twisted Brewpub & BBQ will be selling food inside the Pours on the Plains event. Food may also be purchased outside from one of our Fair food vendors and brought inside.

Tickets
Pours on the Plains is a 21+ event and tickets are $25 each. Purchasers must also purchase a Fair ticket to gain entry into the event. If Pours on the Plains is not sold out, tickets will also be available day of online and on-site for $30. Designated Driver tickets will be available for sale on-site only for 21+ guests for $10.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE EVENT?

Please bring your printed or mobile ticket and a valid, government issued photo ID. Attendees must be 21+ to receive a sampling cup- no exceptions.

WHERE CAN I FIND PARKING?

Parking is free at the Fairgrounds. Please be safe and use a designated driver taxi/safe ride service.

WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE?

Pours on the Plains ticket holders gain entry to the craft brew festival for 3 hours of trying beers from around the state. All ticket holders receive a complimentary mini mug and a chance to vote for their favorite brew of the evening.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T MAKE THE EVENT?

Tickets are non-refundable, however ticket holders may transfer their tickets to anyone who is 21+. Simply print out the ticket and hand it to the person of your choice, or email it to them!

WILL THE EVENT BE CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER?

Pours on the Plains does take place indoors and outdoors and is a rain or shine event. However, in extreme conditions, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the event. If the cancellation occurs prior to the commencement of the event, attendees will be notified of the cancellation by email.

I DON'T DRINK. CAN I STILL ATTEND?

Yes, of course! Your ticket still includes entertainment, non-alcoholic beer provide by Gruvi, and we always provide water.
