Don’t miss the fireworks shows, concerts, the hypnotist who’s bound to get you laughing so hard you’ll bust a gut, or my favorite, the rodeo complete with bull riding, barrel racing and calf roping. Thank goodness there’s no hog tying. And brand new this year is the demolition derby – nothing like watching cars crash on purpose. It makes me happier than a pig in a blanket! ROLE MODEL: My hero is Babe. He demonstrates that where there’s a will, there’s a way. If you want to be something bad enough, you can be it, you just have to put your mind to it and work hard. WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME: It’s time to party! As Mayor of the Arapahoe County Fair I promise to make your time at the Arapahoe County Fair full of fun. There’s something for everyone – tractor pulls and camel rides. It’s awesome!
