FAVORITE FOOD: funnel cake

MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE: The Fair is great fun and it’s an incredible learning experience. It’s important to educate today’s youth about our agricultural history. Through the Fair, youth involved in 4-H get to display their projects and teach other fairgoers what they’ve learned whether it’s how to bake a cake using nutritional values or raising a steer or rabbit. Programs, such as 4-H, teach kids valuable life skills including teamwork, leadership, and organizational planning. It is an incredibly valuable segment of the Fair that shouldn’t be missed.

ROLE MODEL: Take a lesson from Curious George. He’s always exploring and learning. You’re never too old to learn something new; that’s what makes life exciting.

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME: As Mayor of the Arapahoe County Fair I promise to uphold my duty to educate the community through fun, hands-on activities and uphold our American heritage. Through our open class competitions, anyone can compete in our baking, painting, quilting, or gardening competitions. What great fun for everyone!

HOBBIES/COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Secretary of the Cattle Drive Association; Volunteer for the Mounted Police; Advocate for the 5 A Day nutritional campaign.
