FAQs

What activities are there for young children?
We've got lots of entertainment for the entire family. In addition to the carnival with games and rides, young children can participate in educational games, milk a cow, visit the petting zoo, get their face painted, do arts and crafts, participate in contests, compete in the mutton bustin’ and more.

How should I dress?
Western gear would be festive, but at least wear boots or comfortable shoes. You can expect the Fair to involve straw and dust, so be comfortable and casual.

How much is parking?
FREE

How do I purchase tickets to the Fair?
The Fair is pay-as-you-enter, so you'll pay on arrival at the Fairgrounds.

What types of entertainment will be at the Fair?
Local bands as well as other stage entertainment are planned for this event. Check out Things to Do for more information.

What kinds of vendors will be at the Fair?
Hungry? You'll be able to choose from a variety of food vendors. In 2011 we had: deep-fried Twinkies, Oreos and Candy Bars. And what’s a fair without food on a stick? Choose from Fried Chicken on a Stick, Cajun Fried Shrimp on a Stick, Porkchop on a Stick and Steak on a Stick. We’ve got dinosaur ribs, funnel cakes and turkey legs too.

And don’t miss our commercial vendors selling everything from cowboy hats to jewelry. The vendor area is geared for variety and an enjoyable shopping experience.
